How to Record Video/Audio on Mac
I could just say, Press Shift-Command-5, and that's it, but there's a bit more to it than that. However it is easy to do, and you won't need anything other than the apps that came on your Mac to do it. This would allow you to record, and save, any YouTube video, or any other program you could stream on your computer. Read more about it here.

The Hype of 5G
We've been hearing about 5G for well over a year now in the public, but the actual rollout has been less invasive than the ad campaign. So where is 5G right now? And what of those blazing speeds and super low latency that we keep hearing about? CNET has been following the 5G rollout since the beginning and while it may still be a work in progress, some advances have been made, read more about it here.

Encrypting Your Chat
We've all learned a lot about video conferencing apps in recent months, how some are more secure than others and how some aren't secure at all. One of the best ways to ensure your privacy/security when using such apps is to use one that is encrypted from end to end. Signal is just such an app, to read more about how to set up encryption on all your video/audio/text chats, take a look at this article from Wired. For more info on secure alternatives to Zoom, take a look at LifeHacker's recommendations here.

More Free Films Online
Lately we've all had plenty of time to watch Netflix, but never fear even if you've run out of shows to watch, the internet is filled with alternatives, many of them free. For a current list of online spots you can watch for free (some we've talked about before, some new ones), take a look at LifeHacker's list of their top 16 sites.

Foldable Phones
When tablets first came out, they were heralded as laptop killers, and soon we would all be using tablets instead of laptops. Well, that didn't really happen as tablets and laptops use completely different operating systems, making a head to head comparison impossible. But with the advance of foldable phones, maybe our tablets and phones will be replaced with one foldable phone? Take a look at this article where all the differences are broken down for the various devices available now. Foldable phones aren't perfect yet, but they don't seem to be giving up either.

Apple Security Risk?
File this one under stuff you should already know, a newly discovered Mac malware (I said, "malware" not virus) is exploiting Apple's OS. For those of you still getting "Update Flash" notices, this one's for you. The exploit uses those soon-to-be-history Flash update notices to gain access to your computer. Flash will officially die in December of this year, but it's already dead for all intents and purposes, so when you see a notice asking you to "Update Flash" delete it, or otherwise get out from it, under no circumstances should you click on such a link. Read all about it from the Apple Insider.
